The Society is full of hen-pecked husbands these days. There are many
women who like to keep their husbands in their grip. These poor
husbands are termed as “henpecked.”
These types of husbands are those who actually criticized and nagged
by their wives. Being a henpecked husband doesn’t inevitably mean
financial dependence on the wife or the in-laws, but they have to obey
each and every word ordered by their so-called wives.
The conditions and status of henpecked husbands in the society has
become worse still. A very henpecked husband is fed up of his
domineering wife and the way society actually treats them. Their life is
very much like a life of an obedient dog. They are not seen with
dignity and respect in our society.
Their days are filled with unreciprocated, back-breaking chore. The
deprived fellows have no amnesty, no salvages and even no elegy. A
henpecked husband is that self-effacing and ill-fated creatures who has
to gamble his basic human rights with the wife and her parents. He has a
master-servant relationship with them all.
A henpecked husband will be more ridiculed because he is a disgrace
to man who is the symbol of strength. They are people who are insecure
and stick to their spouses because they have nowhere to go. This kind of
relationship- the domineering and docile type is a latent
sado-machoistic relationship.
Every relationship takes time to develop. Love, respect and trust are
the factors that are need in a relationship to make it successful. The
status of hen-pecked husband in the society is not good as our society
always see men as dominating women. They would not accept if women
dominates men, but still dominating and over possessiveness ruin every
relationship and is unhealthy too.
