In his TV show "Satyamev Jayate" Aamir Khan, with proper video proof and live interviews exhibited the malpractices in the medical profession. He also showed how several medicines including the life-saving drugs are sold at a huge higher price than its real price. It is too much actually when some business houses do not hesitate to put their shrewd business tricks to earn profit even in the health sector.
Aamir Khan has been highly appreciated by people of all walks of life for his effort to present the real picture of the society without any bias.
The show led to the Indian Medical Association (IMA) asking Aamir to apologies for accusing doctors of malpractices. But the fearless Bollywood actor did not bow down which finally provided him a chance to put his words before a parliamentary committee.
